Just as the title reads, I'll start off.

Well let me think.... My name is Joe, Surprise!

675: 6 represents 6 letters in my first name, 7 represents the number of computers in my house at the time, 5 represents the number of letters of my last name minus the letters in my middle name.

And each 0 represents something which I don't feel like explaining. I've come by a lot of names, but this one I use a lot. Although sometimes I have found others use this too lol

My son's name is Nick - in any video game that requires you to name a starting town/country/etc I make it Nickburg. That's my nation name.

The name of his school is Bradford.

I wonder if you're curious about my name... there is indeed a long story behind it. Should I give you the long, or short version?Joey wants the long story.

So... several years ago, in my creative writing class, I wrote a story. This story involved a medieval fantasy environment, with a non-parallel world development to our own.

Basically it was centered around an individual who was born half phoenix, half man, and had the spirit of a dragon/fire god thrust into his heart by his father who died defending his son from being executed. He betrayed the will of the King/country by turning and defending villagers from a neighboring city, before they were slaughtered... also by order of the King. Eventually he retained the nick name, Fireblade because of the style in which he fought, after being promoted to being a General, by his friend, who also died defending him from execution, but was brought back to life through the immortal phoenix's power, which in a sense made them brothers.

AANYWAY - I started using the name, "Flareblade" on the Internets, and on gaming, as a kind of parody to that nick name. Eventually I started playing Rome Total War, where I eventually joined (and ended up leading -_- ) a clan (which ended up being a co-leadership of 3 individuals... sound familiar?). Their leader at the time, Bliz, who became a good friend of mine, typed out my name (in error) adding the clan tag. I didn't complain when he did this, and at that time I became {-Maji-}_Fireblade (instead of Flareblade). Since that time I've always used Fireblade as my name on the internets... though I do have a few other internet aliases as well.

ArchSchnitz was a name I used to differentiate myself from the rest of my family way back when. We all wind up being pegged with the same nickname, so for a while I was ArchSchnitz while my brother was LittleSchnitz.

When I first got on AOL, I used a different username, for some reason. When I cancelled that service, I pegged on the idea of using "ArchSchnitz", so I did. One of the first accounts I created under that username was a character on a MUD that some of the comp sci majors had set up on campus.

That year, we all got into our characters a bit too much, and the term "ArchSchnitz" came to be both my username and the name of a character, whose background story was peppered with the characters from the MUD. The thing is, they all went with it. In fact, my girlfriend at the time was on the game, and our character's stories became very intertwined during that time. Since then, I have simply continued the narrative, skipping forward or backward to accommodate whatever story I was currently telling. I simplify the narrative here, add more there. When the time came to hop on NationStates with some of the same people, of course it was that character/god's nation that I played.

I have been consistently RPing the ArchSchnitz character off and on for 13 years now. He is not my character in every game, in fact, he's not my character in MOST games anymore. It's just a story I like to keep going. ArchSchnitz has been my username for just as long.

  12. The Fellow

    The Fellow The Fellow

Oh, So you want to know about Fellow, huh? Pretty basic story really, but I shall go back to the beginning!

In 7th grade I decided to take up a project to get me better at my new found love, programming, at that time. It was a game, and a game needs to have npc's, no? So I created a whole list, and personality traits for all of them. One of the characters I created was "Sir Fellow" not his real name, but the name he gave to people because of his long dark history before changing his whole outlook on life. I grew connected with the character because he acted so much like me, and even more of how I wanted to be. He was great with a sword; he had a study of which no one ever has seen before; And he always tried to do the greatest of things, to achieve the impossible. I took on the characters name at first, but decided it was easier just to use Fellow.

Well people always asked me why I named myself Fellow, and I give a loads of reasons. Like how I always just come and go, never making too many friends. I remember one conversation I had with someone about the way people think, and the different ways they do it. I explained to them that it has always been a believe of mine, that if one wants to know everything, one must see everything in everyone elses point of view, not only their own. They have to understand both opinions and be able to support either, even if they believe in the other. When one thinks like that it lets them think of balanced paths and what not. Jokingly I called the people who thought like that a Fellow, and well we went with it. He became a good friend of mine, and a fellow in my footsteps, lol.

So I use a mixture of the following usernames:

    Fellow
    TheFellow
    The Fellow
    Fellow-of-the-void
    Sir Fellow

Oh, and King D, don't be upset about your name, I actually did the same thing with runescape back in the day(you know when it was good, lol). I was King Kyle, or soemthing like that, I think there was numbers to it, but I do not remember.

I roleplay, but not much anymore. I have ran some of my own roleplaying site (Ok, so my friends wanted them made, so I made them xD) but yeah. It depends on the store if I want to role play or not.

  14. danizduhman

danizduhman I am your Dark Lord.

Hell, I've been using danizduhman for a really long time, since like 2001 or something.

My cousin and I were playing around at my house, and we decided we needed mails. I was in 6th grade or so I think, I don't remember. Haha, I remember when we did this really well actually. Me, always thinking I am the best person alive (because I am), just combined the phrase dan is the man into dan iz duh man which quickly became danizduhman. My cousin had just seen the first Rocky movie, and made his name Rockyizduhbomb lol

For some reason, I've just always stuck with this name, while he quit using his a long time ago.

I've always liked the word putz, and I always figured whenever I talked to anyone online they'd feel like "oh no, another putz is talking to me" so it became my screen name for a lot of stuff.

  18. Lord Razzia

    Lord Razzia Member

Razzia is the name of one of my favorite attacks in Final Fantasy X (and i guess X-2).
It used to be Blade after, and that comes from the fact that "Razzia" uses these firey blades. But I eventually took out the Blade and stuck a Lord in front, which was because I was getting particularly good at this one game a while back. I'm not gonna go into details, but it was a good idea at the time. I basically earned the status to put Lord in front of my name unlike all the little kids that do it today (excluding Lord Matt Watty 8)). Although Cybernations would be a better place to put "Lord" or some superior title in front of your name.

For my nation, I changed the word Razzia into an adjective, and I chose Dominion because it isn't used often and sounds cool.
